Clark Campaign Releases First Quarter Fundraising Totals

April 1, 2020

KINGSPORT —  First District Congressional Candidate John Clark announced fundraising totals for the quarter ending March 31, the campaign’s first Federal Election Commission reporting period.

“I’m immensely grateful for the confidence so many of my friends and neighbors have shown to me through their investment in my campaign,” Clark said. “The people of Northeast Tennessee will be electing a new Congressman this year – and it’s clear that voters are looking for a conservative who will fight for President Trump and stand up to Nancy Pelosi to defend our values. I’m working hard to earn the support of folks in the First District and I’m very proud and humbled by the tremendous backing we’ve received so far.”

Clark went on to say, “I am encouraged and very thankful for all the individual and community support we’ve received, especially given the difficult times our country is facing right now.  Your faith in me is something I don’t take lightly. You can count on me to continue to work hard for the First District!”

The Clark campaign will file it’s quarterly report with the FEC on April 15, showing:
  • Total receipts in excess of $175,000
  • 77% of donors coming from within the state of Tennessee
